Could it be?

That running parallel with physical evolution exists a spiritual evolution?

A cosmic evolution so have it.

For it has always been; humans seek answers.

Answers to questions that someday all must answer.

These questions,

They are among the stars.

And, they sit there.

Sit there waiting,

Waiting.

They wait with the patience of eons.

Forever waiting.

And is it science that holds the key to unlock these answers?

Or...

Is science just another "religion." An evolved religion so to speak.

A religion with a premise that all can be explained through quantum physics and other forms of mathematics. Will mathematics as we know it one day be scoffed at as being archaic; just as animistic beliefs, once such dictums of certitude, are now skoffed upon today?

It is told by mathematicians that the human brain short-curcuits at numbers as a trillion.

A trillion seconds equals 150,000 years.

If asked to think of something yet being been preceived of. Could you? It would so then be instantly negated for your conception of it now enters the world of the perceived. But I am sure there exists concepts.."things" that we are yet incapable of even dreaming of. They lie waiting to be uncovered. Think for a moment,a person in the year 1000. Could he possibly have been able to conceive of a microwave-oven?

No, he sure couldn't.

Our physical evolution { if indeed that doctrine holds true} seems self evident. But is our spiritual evolution so evident? Or, does it lag behind.

Steve Hawkins states religion to be a fear of the dark. How so has he authority to state so. Had he crawled from the grave to enlighten us? He is a man a math and science. He is nor more qualified to deliberate the "afterlife" any more than you or I.

So, is science the terminal station of human understanding?

Considering the past it appears to me just a another rung upon the latter to find the truth.

Ever think?

That it just may be that humans were never so designed to learn the truth, just as the distance between two fractions near meet.

Anyway, if you so hold fast we are biological freaks; a result of an enormous M-80 causing the so acclaimed→ :Big Bang."..

Just how did the fuse get lit?

Not really. Religion pretty much asks someone to accept statements on faith. Science asks someone to accept statements only when backed up by evidence. Not very close to one another at all...

More than that, science requires one to question the statements and the evidence very carefully. The other key thing is that this evidence cannot be anecdotal nor personal.

Any "evidence" of god or gods is very personal and in no way can be backed up by others in an objective manner. This is not science.
