Vastor Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 symptom - more pimple pop on my face. - my computer BSOD this day. - read [math]3^{t-2}[/math] as [math]3^{t-3}[/math] - solve [math]9x - 8 = 0[/math] as [math]x = \frac{9}{8}[/math] - calculate [math](k^2)(k^{5+t})[/math] as [math] k^{2(5+t)}[/math] - wrong almost every problem that I solved by mistake from above(except for pimple). - losing my calculator. - god is not exist. - not having my coffee today. - having "eh, I know how to answer this" moment while writing long post to ask the expert here. I have two question, did I'm still sane? please said to me the above symptom is just bad luck, right?! should I stop try to be funny?
imatfaal Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 perhaps too much coffee? I won't suggest a beer to reverse the effect cos I think you might be a bit too young in your part of the world. I would just put it down to probability - sometime all the bad things happen Sod's Law
John Cuthber Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Almost certainly just bad luck. But don't stop trying to be funny anyway. Some days the only helpful thing you can do is laugh.
Xittenn Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) If it makes you feel any better I suffer from most of the same on a daily basis, but add to that regular migraines and extreme emotional responses to everyday life. Yesterday I named the Scapula a Speculum in an oral lab evaluation, and more recently spelled it Spacula in the posting of this thread. The day before I started crying in my physics class, following chem lab, after having incorrectly calculated the moles titrated HCl Excess as the moles HCl total in sample (I did something backwards) therefore leaving me short on time to finish my exam questions. Even though I will probably get an A in the exam I was still sobbing baddly enough that the professor made sure I was ok. I also keep dropping letters from words like two => to . . . . . I wouldn't worry about it unless it is persistent and is severely interfering with your daily function and personal growth. Try the following: - monitor your diet, eat more fruits and vegetables - exercise at least 20 min. every other day; brisk walking is A1 - organize yourself better and more specifically find the time to sleep properly - take a class in stress management Edited February 17, 2012 by Xittenn

Eventhough those event is kind of unlucky, at least I'm learning something from it (completely understanding log for my syllabus, except for the base part, though), and that's matter the most. But it's certainly unlucky to do the mistake in exam or test. When thinking how badluck I am(shorty, poor family, not that good-looking), I always comfort myself with thought about how much person which has worse luck than mine, is this kind of hypocrite?!
Xittenn Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 No, feel free to use me as your muse! I thought the speculum thing was pretty funny.
Vastor Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) No, feel free to use me as your muse! I thought the speculum thing was pretty funny. you spell it right now, no more problem then but, today, after doing some exercise, I'm still miss-read some constant.... again! should I start drink tea instead of coffee now?! oh btw, in exam, there no answer on the back, so I can't check my mistake...  Edited February 18, 2012 by Vastor
