Dabz Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 (edited) Hello, I'm no math expert, no physics expert, just a plain old joe that likes to think about stuff! I'll begin my first ever post regarding what I call GiGo Theory, which basically means "Gravity In, Gravity Out"... Before I get [possibly] torn apart about my views, I'd just like to mention this is what I "think", not what I can prove, I'm not a writer, nor do I work in the scientific community (I am a builder, bricks and mortar )... I respect peoples views, arguments and as such, if anyone can tell me why I'm wrong (In English), then, I'll listen! GiGo Theory GiGo (Gravity In, Gravity Out) GiGo is a theory (used lightly) that tries to explain why the universe is expanding, the underlying property of the theory is based on gravity, the weak force (Which it isnt, but, when it comes to others, it is)... My view is, that, gravity is weak because it's shared in the universe, though, how we see gravity as a puller of matter, I "think", that, some of it's force (Well, more then we experience) is lost in a layer of the universe that's "underneath" us. I say underneath, though, it's probably above us. I see our universe as a ball, and as such, where we exist, is like the underneath of football skin, we live there, but, beyond the cosmic foam, lies, the outer universe, the outer part of the skin.. I'll not go into quantum physics etc etc, but, this is the realm beyond the foam, the "oververse" if you will. Now, our universe is expanding, we all know that, and, it's expanding quicker and quicker, but why, we call it Dark Energy, some, unforeseen force that has somehow been tangled with Dark Matter, which, I think, the two are as related as normal matter is as related to Dark Energy. I digress... When I say Dark Energy, what I am referring to is the force of gravity that has been punched through to the oververse and as such, if our gravity was "-1", when the force goes beyond the foam threshold, it flips its value, thus, taking on a value of "+1", and as such, creates a repel force. So, why does this matter, well, like I said, the universe in my view is like a ball, we live on the inside, but, their still resides a "buried" outside, the difference is, like any ball, the inside has a smaller surface area then the outside, but, they share the same medium, this means, if the inside exerts more pressure on the "medium", the outside will grow even bigger. And as such, over time, the universe that we know and love has been growing larger, matter is getting pushed further apart, as, portions have been getting denser, my view is, that, when matter attracts itself to large clumps, it's creating a bigger pressure on the outerverse, thus, pushing the makeup of the universe further apart. Dark energy is gravity, where it's attraction properties end in our innerverse, it subsequently pushes the outerverse, which in term, stretches our universe. Simple as that! Thanks for reading, much appreciated... Dabz Just thinking... Edited February 26, 2012 by Dabz
