Economics?

I have an idea, how about adding Economics category?

Of all the suggestions for new categories that I've seen here, Economics is probably the one that is mostly debated.

 

I would make it a subcategory of the Politics section, since they are intertwined, and for a large part even overlapping.

Then we have financial mathematics and econophysics.

Hmm, economics is kind've not science since it is about operating businesses. Not very theory based.

No, it's not science, but economic theories abound. The issue, from what I can see, is how rigorously the models can be tested. So the problem is that they are too theory based. (using the lay definition of theory, since it's not science)
