Theodious78 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I'm writing a book and it's turning out quite well. The only issue I'm having is finding a publisher that I don't have to pay them to publish my work. Can anyone help?? It's fiction/fantasy. It will be around three to four hundred pages once finished.
ajb Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I think Amazon allows you to self-publish? You might be right, I have seen some real trash sold via Amazon. The price of freedom of speech I guess. How easy and cheap would it be to release the book on kindle rather than on paper?
Theodious78 Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 That's what I'd like to know too....
Joatmon Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I know someone who has a book published as a Kindle e-book through Amazon. I believe, as long as Amazon will accept the book, it costs nothing. Try this link and the best of luck. https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/signin
Sayonara Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Publishing on Kindle is free. They have 35% and 70% royalty options plus they provide a print-on-demand service. There is an ocean of crap on the Kindle store, but as a new author you probably want your book floating in an ocean of crap rather than in a sea of excellence.
