However, would like to know if a 2-way or 3-way switching mechanism is possible with a electronic circuit? Also, if it possible with a combination of mechanical switch and electronic circuit (means one of the 2-way switch is a mechanical switch and other switch is an electronic circuit) Regards

I don't know if any of them are optimal. One simple one is to just replace your switch with a pair of transistors. Have your logic circuit supply current to one of the other in the same way your physical switch would. Relays also seem like the kind of thing that would be used in this application. It's basically a mechanical switch driven by a small electromagnet. If you put a tiny bit more thought into it, you could probably just build a series of and/or gates, too. All depends on the application, really.

If possible, Could u plzz provide me a simple electronic circuit diagram for a 3 way electronic multi-switch and btw thanx for the reply
AKHIL NAIR Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 The SCRS are much common in the use as they can effictively switch the circuit at high frequencies.And what you said above i dun get much but i think u wanna ckt that can switch on and off if some one comes yes thyristor can do that effectively
