imatfaal
Isn't it Jupiter and Venus we are seeing in the night sky right now? Yep - as well as Mercury, Mars and Uranus if you are really lucky and live somewhere with zero light pollution. The attached article was correct and the OP did mention "although the planets are different" Funny - when I put in the time and date she/he has for jupiter saturn alignment in the evening of 24th of december -7 I get those planet already set! Additionally surely they said they saw the star in the east (not the south west) 1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Matthew 2:1-2 Those planets were rising/in the east at 9 in the morning - you cannot see stars at nine in the morning in the middle east. I guess the mix up is in the conversion back to old calendars

imatfaal
The wise men came from the East ( Babylon city). following the star. \picture snipped http://thirdsecret.o...ed-the-wise-men Yes - but the bible states that the star was in the east (it is too much of a stretch to say that meant "from our home in the east") , other translations even say rising. New InternationalAfter Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him." Verse 9 makes this indisputable - emphasis mine - Matthew 2:9 New International After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was The star was in the Eastern Sky. Your planetary arrangement is in the SW Edited March 15, 2012 by imatfaal
