I think much of it is that women have been historically pressured into suppressing their sexuality, the whole goofy notion of "good girls don't" has been quite effective in requiring women to hide their sexual feelings. This is changing, I think it's a good thing... 2

There are indeed real differences in how men and women consume porn, especially judging how the vast majority of male only pornography is consumed by gay men.

True, but since porn is shall we say, anonymous, who knows what who really looks at? I am rather fond of erotic literature, I write some of it as a matter of fact... The reason I ask is that there seems to be a lot of human trafficking, with women getting caught up in the sex industry with no escape.A link to a blog on the subject, if you're interested. I'd feel a lot more comfortable with pornography if there were some sort of guarantee that the actors have free will and are getting paid.

That is a concern, difficult to be sure, mostly i like porn made by ordinary people but that can be simulated as well... In sexual reproduction, it is male's job to visually examine the target (female) and execute the airbombing sequence. Porn is made for male side, females don't really look at the male and say, okay, I wanna do this or I wanna do this assault. Instead, they make housesand open their castle door wide and let the calvary come in to pillage. -2
