Hey guys,

There are 2 school activities that I'm getting into:

1. build Paper Plane (only A4 paper and stapler)

2. make fancy stuff from a program called Geometer's Sketchpad.

for (1), I found these site:

http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Fold_Your_Own_Sky_King_Paper_Airplane

http://www.paperairplanes.co.uk/planes.php

hope anyone can contribute any better site!

for (2), can anyone give some tip / idea on what should I do?!

Have a look at the photo next to my post - its five inter-locking tetrahedrons (well skeletons of tetrahedrons). made from simply folding together 30 sheets of coloured paper. You could try searching on these names

Thomas Hull - he invented the tetrahedron I made in the photo

These three guys are all maths professors (or used to be) at colleges in the USA - and they produce some beautiful objects with a great degree of mathematical thought behind them

oh, by the way, for the "build plane" activities, I need to find a model that "stay on air for longest time". Already found one, and there so much source on internet. So, no problem!

but, for the second activities, I need to do some animation because there a lot of mark counted there!

imatfaal,

well, I think I need to study a lot of geometry/trigonometry there... ;/
