Mr Diamond Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Hallo guys, This is my first message so I hope post this right. I've got a question about if Osteogenic cells are excitable cells or not. I have discussed this with PhD teacher and a PhD student. The student told me that those cells are excitable because they communicate with nerve cells for example. But when I told that to my teacher he was surprised. He told me that as he knows bone cells don't use action potential to communicate but biochem and that is why they are not excitable cells. To be honest I also can not find information about bone cells being excitable cells. So guys if anyone have any information about this please share it? In between sorry for my English.
