ahmedzica Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Hello Guys, I wanna know how i could simpify this expression . It's been 5 days since I started thinking about it so how can i simplify that expression A'B'C' + A'B'C + A'BC' + AB'C' to equal A'B' + A'C+ B'C' Thanks alot, Ahmed.
mathematic Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 The expression doesn't look right. The first two terms add up to A'B', but the rest looks wrong, since C has no role.
phillip1882 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 A'B'C' + A'B'C + A'BC' + AB'C' A'B'(C' +C) +A'BC' +AB'C' A'B' +C'(A'B +AB') A'B' +C' so yeah there's something wrong with the way you have the equation.
mathematic Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 A'B'C' + A'B'C + A'BC' + AB'C' A'B'(C' +C) +A'BC' +AB'C' A'B' +C'(A'B +AB') A'B' +C' so yeah there's something wrong with the way you have the equation. A'B + AB' is not everything. However your point is correct.
ZeroZero Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 here is a site that might interest you. i found it very useful well written and have studied the course http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_4/chpt_7/5.html
phillip1882 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 whoops. hehe, i was thinking that '(A'B) <=> (AB') which of course it is not.
khaled Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 whoops. hehe, i was thinking that '(A'B) <=> (AB') which of course it is not. (a' AND b)' <=> a OR b' --de Morgan Law 1
