Fettboy Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 (edited) Hey guys! Is there a "keyhole-access" from inside the mouth to the Bichat-Fat-Pad (=Buccal Fat Pad=Corpus adiposum buccae), without cutting the Muscle (M. buccinator) ? The Bichat-Fat-Pad is the buccal fat pad, lying deep in the cheek, under the M. zygomaticum major, superficial to the M.buccinator, caudal to the Arcus Zygomaticus. My idea: A small cut through the oral mucosa next to the Molar-Teeth of the upper jaw, accessing the Bichat-Fat through the little gap cranial of the M. buccinator and caudal to the Arcus Zygomaticum. Do you really have to cut through the Buccinator to get to the Bichat? You can get to the Bichat from above the M.buccinator as well without cutting through it, am i right? I wish for many ideas of you guys!! Edited May 12, 2012 by Fettboy
