niall Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, Im really struggling getting my head around the math involved in these types of questions, can anyone work through it with me? Thanks, N The question I've been set is: With what frequency would the phenotype a b C appear in the descendancy when the following cross is carried out in D.melanogaster? Females a B c/A b C x Males A B c/a b C, taking into account that the recombination frequency between A and B is 0.20, between B and C is 0.15, and the coefficient of coincidence is 0.25.
