Under certain cases such as small payloads, try submersing it in a fluid such as water. Edited May 22, 2012 by pmb

Under certain cases such as small payloads, try submersing it in a fluid such as water. i'm making a small rocket of 90cms length and 5cms dia , firstly i want to carry one egg to a certain altitude and bring it back safely with help of a parachute . as u said using water will increase the weight of the rocket a bit , what i thought was to keep the egg in a small cardboard box where it is fixed and install it inside the rocket with the help of small springs(spring is in between the cardboard box and inner wall of the rocket ) . i'm facing a problem in case of dimensions of the rocket . any suggestions pls....
Externet Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Use a pigeon egg, surrounded in tiny partially inflated balloons or sponge in the 'cargo' compartment
