sometimes i see people post in this weird font that lets them write math so you can tell what is going on how do you do that?

ok how do i do roots?

You can click on any of the example equations in the tutorial (or any equation posted anywhere on SFN) to see the code used to make it. Square roots are made by \sqrt{}.
