There are variation with differences in speed and recovery, but if you do not really intend to build a column or something similar the described approach should work fine. CharonY Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Normally w/v % is used. I.e. you just weigh in the desired amount of Chelex (say 5g) and then add ultrapure water (in this case 100 ml) to create a suspension with the given percentage.
