studiot Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Well I had a go but couldn't find how to do it. I can certainly draw the symbols in MathType, but it won't create Tex from them, although it will create a pastable entry for Wiki and Google.
imatfaal Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 [math] \subsetneq [/math] All from here - The Comprehensive Latex symbol list its a direct link to a 4.2megabyte pdf with everything Table 86: AMS Subset and Superset Relations \nsubseteq \subseteqq \supsetneqq \nsupseteq \subsetneq \varsubsetneq \nsupseteqq \subsetneqq \varsubsetneqq \sqsubset \Supset \varsupsetneq \sqsupset \supseteqq \varsupsetneqq \Subset \supsetneq
studiot Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 [tex]\A subseteq B[/tex] So how do these work then please?

imatfaal Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 quick latex protips 1.. you can always see how another member has implemented latex by clicking on the formula - this should bring up a little box with the code 2.. to put a latex code in plainsight (without need for banjaxing it somehow) you can use the noparse tags. [math]A \varsubsetneq B[/math] is given by [math]A \varsubsetneq B[/math]
