.img file access

Hey!

I would need some help!

ls it possible to access .img files (Erdas Imagine) with programming languages C and R. If then.. what would be the code for it? I tried to search it online but couldn't find anything. I am myself not familiar with neither of the programming languages..Hopefully someone will be able to help me.

you can read any file in C, what matters is how you process data stored inside it

 

.. you probably need a library that can handle that type of files
