Bill Angel Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Is the Higgs boson an indivisable particle like the photon , or might it have an internal structure?
ajb Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 There are composite Higgs models. These contain more parameters than just the Higgs mass and show different phenomenology. Right now further study of the information at CERN, and probably more experiments, will need to be done to rule out composite Higgs models. This is discussed in [4]. See below for some references. Ant Sinclair Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) This the latest from CERN, there was a video too(which I'll try to find) from a CERN Professor John somebody(can't remember His last name but He's nick-named Jack) on the possibility of two Higgs particles. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/15/two-higgs-bosons_n_2302897.html Edited January 30, 2015 by Ant Sinclair
