Phi for All Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I always thought it was because biologists smelled of death and disease while chemists just smell of crazy. Physicists don't have the smell so they can be hidden. It's all in the pick up lines. Spot the disciplines: "You look extremely reproductive tonight, my dear!" "Do you like the drink I made you? Wanna see what it made my lab rats do?" "If I kiss you, you have to kiss me back. It's a Law." 2

Wanna see what it made my lab rats do?" "If I kiss you, you have to kiss me back. It's a Law." Other disciplines must rebel. No more publications until proper pick-up lines are made!
Phi for All Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 I didn't want to take anything away from the thread honoring swansont's achievements, so I split these posts off into their own thread. Post a good pick up line for a scientist from a particular branch. If any of these actually happen to work for you, we'll want details, and possibly some evidence.
JohnB Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 If any of these actually happen to work for you, we'll want details, and possibly some evidence. This is a science site and we require proof. Photos and videos only please.
Phi for All Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 "I have some input for you from a hardware perspective." "I prefer exothermic reactions, so how about spreading some of that hotness over my way?" "I expect a little resistance when I turn up the voltage."
Ringer Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 These genes have waited ~200,000 of years just to pair with yours. How about we go back to my place and increase my room's Entropy.
CharonY Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I think we are in different incompatibility groups.
Joatmon Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) Let me lower your resistance, take you "Ohm" and join you in some interesting parallel connections. Edited July 23, 2012 by Joatmon
