From where can I get DNA sequences of organisms in text file format?

Hi friends,

From where can I get DNA sequences of organisms in text file format? Just to plot probability density function, find entropy etc . I would love to get human dna files if possible.

NIH site is good for you.

The NCBI server is a good start. However for DNA sequences the RefSeq or genome database are more applicable.
