Nasum Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) how are geysers formed Edited August 31, 2012 by CaptainPanic Spelling edited from "Gayser" to "Geyser". Must be "Geyser" because the other spelling gives no hits that make any sense in Google. When Google says nothing, it doesn't exist.
Phi for All Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Do you mean "geyser", the jet of water from a hot spring? Is this for homework?
Nasum Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 No, its not for homework. I am new and would like to learn a lot about geology because i'm studying it at school and i would appreciate all the help and advice i can get.
iNow Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 It would probably help to ask a more specific question. When you ask, "how are geysers formed?" it appears that you haven't even bothered to google that exact question or try wikipedia. Those are good places to start. Then, when you read a little and have a more specific question, that is when it makes the most sense to come to a site like this for additional help. http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geyser
