us.2u Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Dear Dracul 89 you suggest life may be found in space as well as here on earth the only thing I'd like to remind you of is...our planet earth.. is in space but I do believe you; life must exist outside of our planet & now it looks like you have proof...well done!
Bettina Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Have they ever created life in a lab?.....I mean under sterile environments? Bettina
MadScientist Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 All this talk about life coming to Earth on comets or metorites... I have to ask - why couldn't life on Earth have started on Earth?? All the necessaries were available so there's no reason why it couldn't have.
[Tycho?] Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Have they ever created life in a lab?.....I mean under sterile environments? Bettina No. Amino acids, the basic building blocks of life have been created in an experiment simulating early earth. But no, we've never created new life from non living things before.
