i was given this hoemwork assignment and i just thought that i would throw it out there to see if anyone could help me out.

if someoneis speaking normally, and you were to record it, then the sound would be normal. however, if you were to take a simple portion of that speech and loop it, after a while it would seem as though the person was singing, if you wer eonly listening to the looped secttion. whenever you listen to the entire thing again, everytime you hear that part, it sounds like the person is singing, even though it is just normal spech. any reason why?

yeah but how does that work though? how would you apply conditioning to this phenomenon?

that particular sound bite played over and over again will pre-dispose your mind to whatever you thought at that time, upon hearing it again, the same thought will re-occur, it makes synaptic connections in the neural paths. with repeatition, these pathways have stronger connections, and thus, it becomes hard to escape upon that trigger.
