fresh
since her childhood my cousin has been tortured by an embarrassing illness, extremely dry&peeling palms almost throughtout the year.(except the temperature is above 30 (°C) the condition can be less worse.) the symptons : extremely dryness, peeling off on plams; her face is dry & peels off too, especially in cool and cold days. only in very hot weather, the condition can get less worse. forget to mention, her heels are dry and peels off too. the hotter the weather the better for her illness. she is the only person who gets this annoying disease in our family, none of the medicine can cure her palm(doctors give her up). none of the handcream works(the more often she applies cream to her palms the worse the palms look like, so she only uses it before bedtime); the healthy diet seems not helpful at all.(including eating fresh veggies and fruit, avoiding spicy and junk food, avoiding handwashing with soap, etc) we guess it is due to her gene problem. how do u guys think ? why this peeling off illness cant be cured at all ?? it is so weird. is it possible this annoying illness can be passed to her kids in future ? greatnews
I am not sure but my left palm peels the skin off sometimes, and a dermatologist said it was something I contacted from fabric some type of fabric, but I get it even when I am not around much fabric, and nothing really seems to help with it. I have noticed that it gets better or worse depending on the temperature though
fresh
I have noticed that it gets better or worse depending on the temperature though it is like the palms lose the ability to secrete lubricant which makes hands moist and smooth. none of doctors can cure that illness. i asked her to use olive oil, but it doesnt work at all. so how do u keep your palm moist in winter if it gets worse ? dmaiski
use gloves made of a fine and thin absorbent material, wear them all the time and put moisturiser on your hands before you put them on. also wear mittens outside.(the gloves will keep the moisturiser from drying out too quickly) its all i can really think of that’s practical. vampares
No, German Beer is very good at removing dead skin cell and allowing the porous nature of the hands an feet survive. They use a lot of hops. This might be the cause of the phenomenon. But American beer is a flesh-eating fungus. No joke (and no offense, I am an American and I don't dislike the beer). I think it sort of stems from the "Science will Guide us" mentality. Science is not always the "higher power". Science is not always legal. Remember that WW2 was a time of innovation. Germans have a very strong culture of beer making -- and laws that prevent any adulteration. All technology that might screw this up, winds up in the US. Really not that big of a deal if you don't mind festering ulcerations. I notice a dog in your avatar. Dogs are subject to technology that is more "questionable" than humans. DL-methionine is in your dogs food. DL-methionine is not an ingredient in human food. DL-methionine is not anywhere found in nature. But you don't know why it is there, do you? How would you define "Animal Digest"? Do you know where the Champ is?
