Who is Jebus? or should've it been spelt correctly before we call on Jesus for love? would it not be nice to address the son of God correctly? forgive me if you are addressing Jebus I do not know this name...

Well, you know, you can't be expected to know every popular cultural reference there is.

However if one is going to slag off one of modern physics' most important minds, spelling his name correctly is merely a courtesy.

Sayonara I couldn't agree with you more however it was me who spelt his name incorrectly & me that supported Einstein the one in question spelt his name correctly...& didn't really slag him off just suggested if gone by calculations were not as they should be then he's a fool. But I don't think he really meant that in a literal sense just how can anyone that clever get their sums wrong. Sayonara I for one respect your wisdom so I'm asking you do you think it's at all possible a certain division of maths formulas etc. have been overlooked? or not discovered yet? I accept physics works for wherever (The Solar-System) but maybe there is a new branch of maths we have not discovered yet that works unilaterly as well & may give us ansewrs that we've yet to learn or maybe there is not...

If you didn't do what I was talking about, then I wasn't talking about you, was I?

I'm not sure what you mean by "discover" in this context.

the whole point of theories in physics is that they are universal... ie. they apply EVERYWHERE.

sure there are things wich look like they break the laws but they dont' date=' quantum phonomenon (spelt wrong!), light bending near black holes, but its still travelling in straight lines...

physics theories apply everywhere.[/quote']

ur right buddy

Over a distance of different mediums in varying environments, light does bend and change speed too. Only by constraining everything to a vacuum and/or considering light a very small scale between each change in a photon within a singular medium do we consider it to be straight.

a) space is effectively a single medium and that is what we are talking about.

NB: i said 'effectively' although techincally speaking it isnt!

b) light is said to travel in straight lines, if light changes speed or space-time is curved these are 'exceptions'.
