Can energy conserve this way? (Lightbulbs)

Laws of energy state that all forms of energy is conserved to a different form. Since light bulbs produce and run by energy, I wanted to know if it was possible for them to use their own energy for use. Perhaps using some form of solar powering? However, This would be useless, since you would initially have to use your house's electricity in the first place to turn it on.

If you were to somehow collect all the light to run the light bulb, there would be no light to illuminate the area. But you can't do that with 100% efficiency. At best, you could recover some of the radiation that's given off — incandescent light generally emit more than 90% of their light in the IR, which is why they are hot — and use that. Basically incandescent light bulbs are heating elements that happen to emit some visible light. A 100W bulb emits 5 Watts or so of visible light.
