There are 5 different people in the same vicinity who all know that each other person is observing them. Each person has a different color marked on their forehead which they do not know the color of but that every other person can see. If any person sees three blue marks, they are to stand up. And, if anyone knows the color on their forehead, they raise they're hand. The person who raises their hand first wins the prize. The people cannot intentionally communicate which each other in any way and the person running the test does not communicate with any person in any way.

Shortly after the timer starts, 3 people stand up, but shortly after that, one person raises their hand. How does this person know which color they have?

Just remember what Einstein is famous for.

Yep. I'll give you a hint: the frequency of light is relative.

Not Einstein's Solution:

Using LED markers instead of paints

Pixel colors : Red Green Blue

Blue is present : White = [RGB]__Blue = [__ B]____ Cyan = [_GB]___ Magenta=[R_ B]

Blue is absent : Black = [___ ]__ Red = [R__]_____Green = [_G_] ___Yellow = [RG ]

time ______________position__________________________event

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

t:1_____________ ((o)) start buzzer____________________ sound travels

t:2 _______________________________________________3 nearest participants hears it

t:3___ _[Cyan]_____ [White] ______[Magenta]____simultaneity of standing[C][W][M] / observes it

t:4 _______________________________________________ raise his hand

t:5_______________________________________________ [C][W][M] raise their hands

t:6_______________________________________________&[Y] hears the signal

t:7 __________[ Blue] _________ [Yellow]________________ stands [Y] stays (seeing 4 not 3)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[blue] doubt his marks to be Blue/Green/Red/Black but will raise hand immediately if one with the blue mark moves.

How's that even possible?

5 diff people

5 diff colours

Still they see 3 blue marks

Are we discussing something with the rudiments of photometry?

Or are these people with different visions :P

What exactly are they wearing on their heads!

:-/

If its einstein's puzzle

Then there can't be any LED's

We dint have them then
