Aloysius
Dear all, I am a mechanical engineering student conducting research in developing new numerical model for green roof. A relatively unknown domain for me is plant physiology. I am looking for an expression that give rate of water transport through soil, plant and to atmosphere that may include, among others, soil water potential, air vapour pressure, etc. Can anyone in this forum give me a link to these areas? Thank you for your help Aloysius Decruz PhD Candidate University of Nottingham Ningbo China

Thank you for your help Aloysius Decruz PhD Candidate University of Nottingham Ningbo China The book Wetlands, by William Mitsch & James Grosselink, has equations that cover parameters involved with evapotranspiration. Search: Wetlands evapotranspiration Also search: evapotranspiration torr ...and Biophysics evapotranspiration... "soil biophysics" transpiration evapotranspiration biophysical parameters ...etc. === Introduction to Environmental Soil Physics, by Daniel Hillel, has lots of equations covering this topic. ...and then there is stuff such as this: http://www.academia....ter_Requirement "Assessing a Suitable Method in Estimating Evapotranspiration for Crop Water Requirement" ...which uses the Penman Equation ~ Edited October 14, 2012 by Essay
