aathi1 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 hello everyone! i need help in iron ore pellet making. more specifically, promoting sufficient porosity in pellets. this is for my research, i need to know how porosity is formed during pelletization. can any1 help me with this. thanks loads.
Enthalpy Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Could it be that the pellets are sintered from powder? If sintering is done shortly, with less pressure, or at a lower temperature, it leaves porosity. That's a standard way to obtain porosity in ceramics, metals...
