Mr Rayon Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 (edited) If you shave your eyelashes does it grow back? Has anyone ever tried doing this as an April fool's joke to a friend? Is it a good joke to use do you think? Edited November 21, 2012 by Mr Rayon
dmaiski Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 shaving hair doesn't actually damage the sections of the hair important for hair growth, and whatever was shaved will grow back in a few weeks.
Phi for All Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Has anyone ever tried doing this as an April fool's joke to a friend? Is it a good joke to use do you think? Like, when he's asleep, sneak up on him with a pair of scissors, get them right down close to his eyelid and hope he doesn't startle awake when you snip them?
swansont Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I had a gash in one eyebrow area once, and the doctor didn't shave my eyebrow when he stitched me up, because he said there was a small chance that it wouldn't grow back. edit: I read that as eyebrow, not eyelash (from the use of "shave"). Did you really mean eyelash? That would be tough to shave.
John Cuthber Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Mr Rayon, do you know that eyelash is not the same as eyebrow? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyelash http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyebrow
