NerDyPhyisicst Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Question is in attachment So the formula I used was F= ma = F= mdelta v / t 10i + 20j = 5 kg(Vf-(-5i+30j)/10 I got 10i +20j = 1/2vf( -5/2i+15j) = (15i + 70j)m which is C. However the question says the object is located in the origin of reference frame and asks to find the position of the object which I don't understand how to do :/ Oh a piece of the question got cut off. The question is "What will be the position 10 seconds later"?
ajb Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 However the question says the object is located in the origin of reference frame and asks to find the position of the object which I don't understand how to do :/ What it is telling you is that at the "starting time" the object is located at the origin of some frame of reference.
NerDyPhyisicst Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Oh so that's what it meant. Thanks for the clarification...!!
