I'd rather say that nerves exchange molecules, and electricity is a side effect because these molecules are charged or polarized.

 

Humans produce tiny amounts of electricity, for instance at their muscles. This is what an electrocardiogram or EEG measures. Too little to propel you bicycle, but enough to be measured by sensitive electronics. Experiments under way would liek to control computers by thought, just with electrodes in a helmet.

Yes you can apply electrodes to the head and use brain waves to control things. Via concentration..and practice, you are controlling the various brain waves. It has been done long ago and you can buy a Luke Skywalker Force control toy that does this.

 

But if you are asking if we can wave our hands and control electric power and shoot out thunderbolts like Darth Vador, thankfully, no. Same NO goes for quack energy healers such as Reiki

 

The easiest way to control electricity with our bodies is to use our fingers to flip a switch!
