Mr Skeptic Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Sometimes you burn daylight. Sometimes daylight burns you! -- Christopher Jager
iNow Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 This just made me chuckle a bit. That is not how physics works. A force, and all forces, cause both translational and rotational acceleration. You really need to learn how classical physics is rather than making things up yourself. Your stubbornness to learn does not do you any service. I don't see logic.
ydoaPs Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 U can maybe use ur urine to be owner of her and as a weapon against opponent ? more general creepiness 1
padren Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I have to share Tar's quote here: I don't know what I just said, or why I said it, but I meant it. Brilliant!
iNow Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Accuracy is in the eye of the beholder. What you consider propaganda, your neighbor down the street declares it truth. Oh... That's just funny on so many levels.
mooeypoo Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 It's about time swansont's goodies will receive their worthy place in history: Wouldn't the homeopathic cure for dehydration be no water at all?
ydoaPs Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I think there's a bit more to that. Wouldn't the homeopathic cure for dehydration be no water at all? Yes, but it would be very diluted.
iNow Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I'll continue raping ... cows [/quote']Heh. I'm pretty sure you can no longer consider it a quote if you've edited what it actually said, Mr.Skeptic. I don't see why religion should be any different, and I'll continue raping sacred cows until people wake the hell up from the spell so many of them are under.
JohnB Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Maybe so, but his is more entertaining. Aside. How do you tell sacred cows from normal ones?
iNow Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Aside. How do you tell sacred cows from normal ones? They tend to live in India. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedI have never had an imaginary friend. However, I have constantly been having imaginary lovers since I was 11. Awesome.
zule Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 iNow, my imaginary lover orders me to thank you for the compliment
iNow Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 The fact is, a stringent death penalty would save lives. The irony in this comment tickled me a bit.
swansont Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I my self drink a lot of diet coal Love this typo.
Phi for All Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I my self drink a lot of diet coal Love this typo. When Santa doesn't give you lemons....
ydoaPs Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Civil discourse does not extend all the way to walking on eggshells to accommodate fragile egos. epic
mooeypoo Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 You're killing me. How does your theory work with inertial frames?
ydoaPs Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 At least we look for the truth, where you just guess. lulz
iNow Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 If you're interested in Free Will and whether it conflicts with determinism, I suggest reading 'Freedom Evolves' by Daniel Dennett. Free Will isn't magic. Knowing how Free Will works doesn't make it any more illusory than knowing that love isn't Cupid shooting arrows makes love illusory. It's time for you to replace your sky hook with a crane. Nailed it.
Royston Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Typo of the day... However, thinking about blackbody radiation, I'm also curious as to whether or not heating it up with hundreds of billions of watts of electricity would also cause it to emit UV light, or X-ray light... or even gamma gays. How likely would that be to happen? Found in the Ultra Pink region of the EM spectrum.
Mr Skeptic Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 C'mon guys, this is a science forum. Let's have less of the off topic discussion about genetics and evolution, and get back to discussing God.
ydoaPs Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 You have that snooty, "Appeal to Ridicule" tone in your posts that suggests Your Eminence may not, in fact, be wearing any clothes at all.
