juanrga
Do nanomaterials exhibit quantum effects ? Yes, for instance the quantum confinement effect. At what distance do we start considering quantum effects, do normal atoms and molecules exhibit quantum effects. There is not a sharp boundary but almost all the effects on atoms and molecules are quantum.
CarbonCopy
So its not only electrons that exhibit quantum effects.
Klaynos
So its not only electrons that exhibit quantum effects. No, even things as large as Bucky balls have been observed exhibiting quantum phenomena.
swansont
Larger than that, even. There was a story of a micro-machined object exhibiting superposition in the news not long ago.
