Enthalpy Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 As these question are straight application of the course, I'm not going to tell more neither. Just that for the rivet, shear strength isn't necessarily the limiting factor. Bending stress uses to be much worse, especially for a hard dowel.
