derek w Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Question is my understanding of a unified theory correct, that it's an attempt to unify the forces into 1 force. So that all the forces strong,weak-electro magnetic and gravity would all be different manifestations of 1 force(gravity)?
Klaynos Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 A unifying theory combines two or more forces into one. So combining all four into one would indeed be a unifying theory.
Przemyslaw.Gruchala Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 In that case Ultimate Theory, which you can find in Speculations section, is one of them.. Because it merges the all weak, strong, electric, matter and energy into one.

StringJunky Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Is the unifying force the one that preceded the four at BB time and they evolved from it? Edited December 25, 2012 by StringJunky
