Begining Calculus

Could somebody explain to me begining calculus, such as calc 101. I'd like to know things like the difference between differential and intregal calculus, and how to use them.

there is a thread started by dave on "introduction to differentiation" somehwhere in the calcus maths subforum.

simply speaking, differntial calculus cocerns about how a rate of one thing changes with another.

and integral calculus concerns finding the area under the graph, total volume, lenght of curve etc.
