neo_maya Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/967.html Well... I don't know if you science-guys like it or not...... but just thought some of you might...... Millions of kids out there are desperately waiting to get their hands on the sixth book in the highly successful Harry Potter series. Though the book ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’ will be released on 16th of July, the official US online retailer Amazon has been flooded with requests for reserving a copy of the book. Written by a British author J K Rowling, the book now stands at the number one position on the best sellers chart
Guest Cures Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 Talking about good science reading if you or a family member is facing a serious illness you owe it to yourself to do a google search for the medical articles written by Gerald Armstrong. Some of the tiltles are "Curing Cancer The Cure, Breast Cancer The Cure, The Cure, and many others."
5614 Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 the one thing i never got about harry potter was that with all the spells there is always random light given off.... you cant make photons randomly appear like that!!! and when photons travel in a beam as a spell does towards a target the photons do not flick off at a 90 degrees angle so YOU can see it! but that's more the movie the book should be a big seller but halo 2 will have been bigger!
