The video indicates to me that there's enough daylight

that the sun would have to be above the horizon, but

that's just my assessment. I'm seeing red flags all over this

story never before years ago were any red flags raised

where celestial bodies were being reported to be in the wrong

place.

Just as with this story below

"An unusual occurrence happened in Ilulissat, which is the third
largest settlement in Greenland with about 4,500 residents. This city is
located about 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle on the west coast of
the island.

The sun "rose" for the first time in 2011 on Tuesday, January 11th.
Since this city is north of the Arctic Circle, there is nothing unusual
with the sun not being visible near the winter solstice. What is unusual
is the sun was not supposed to rise until two days later, on Thursday,
January 13th."

Look up when the Sun is supposed to rise tomorrow, then set your alarm fifteen minutes before that and look outside.

Most likely due to melting icecaps.

To elaborate. The Sun is about 0.5 degrees across. And on those dates (11th and 12th), it was 0.4 and 0.2 degrees below respectively.

http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=1926&month=1&year=2011&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1

If they measure this point from the center of the Sun (which they should), that means it's peeking up above the horizon. If there were more ice in the way before, it wouldn't perhaps be visible until the 13th, when the center of it was only 0.1 degrees below the horizon.

Here's more eyewitness testimonies that the Earth's

position is changing.

Quotes

"I live in the western arctic and have all my life...and as a child
growing up it was DARK as it is stated during the winter months
especially in december Christmas day i can remember having only about an
hour of day light and now Christmas day we can almost see the sun, with
hours of day light...and in the summer the sun is higher in the sky and
it is most noticable with our 24 hour summer sunshine"

Polaris Skewed

Polaris has moved substantially to the right of where it was 2 weeks ago.

I know this for a fact because I have a laser permanently attached with 3

inch screws to a 10 foot railroad tie. The first 4 feet

of the tie are buried in the ground.....The laser ain't movin'! LOL!

Polaris, however, is! My guess is that it has moved at least 3 to 4

degrees to the left, (east) from the position it was in when I

re-sighted it with the laser two weeks back.

Now, check THIS out! The sun has been coming up in the East pretty much where it is supposed to be. (moving North one

degree or so per day)

Equinox was 34 days ago and after adjustments for magnetic declination, (17 degrees at my location, and 1 degree for zero

horizon, it is pretty much on track....BUT...The sun is setting nearly 16 degrees too far South! Same math applies, but when

you run the numbers, the sun just crossed the line of magnetic west 3 days ago. She's WAY off and too far South at sunset

What I suspect is happening is that something is pulling the planet at a cockeyed angle from the Southern hemisphere.

The North pole is staying relatively in place, but the pull on the South pole is skewing the bottom half of the planet out from

under itself and sideways to the West. It's kind of comparable to holding on to a rope while your feet slip sideways on ice.

This then causes the sun to rise in the right position but to set too

far South. The pull on the South pole is strong enough to

cause the North pole to move east by a few degrees, but the gyroscopic

effect of the earth's spin is resisting the magnetic

attraction that is pulling on the South pole. The end result is that the

out of place appearance of Stars, etc., should appear to

be much greater in the southern hemisphere than it is in the North. Any

way you try to cut it, the Earth is not performing the

way it should. A sideways skew that is gradually worsening may be the

reason. I have had to re-sight my laser 3 times in the

last 6 weeks. Each time I had to adjust it to the right (east) by at

least 2 degrees. This time I may have to resight it 3 or 4

degrees East!
-Cliff, April 27

Polaris (Earth) is still wobbling here in
Seattle! To the left. I check it every night with the laser and I know
the readings are
correct. In the last two weeks the wobble has again increased markedly!

ZOMG, I got a eyewitness account too.

"Rudolph was down for the count with a nasty case of Holly Jolly Heebee Jeebees. I mean, I had never seen so much reindeer puke since the Feliz Navidad Flu of Aught Eight.

Anyway, without his glowing proboscis, I thought I was dead in the water. Then I remembered the way I navigated before I upgraded to glow-in-the-dark ruminates... the North Star. So, I broke out the sleigh sextant and the candy cane chronometer. Well, at first I thought I might have been rusty with the tools -- there I was giving Rod and Todd Flanders the largest, blackest lump of coal I'd ever seen thinking it was that rotten Dennis the Menace's house.

Turns out the damn North Star moved on me! Well that was it, the very next year I started pumping the reindeer feed full of antibiotics and speed right around Halloween. There was no way I wasn't going to have the healthiest, most wide awake reindeer on the 24th of December."

-- Kris Kringle in his tell-all autobiography "Ho Ho Ho and I'm Getting Too Old For This Shit"

That's it, I'm convinced.

Also, just off the cuff here, have I told you guys about how good my satellite TV service is? I mean, they are doing a great job of moving those satellites around despite the Earth doing a celestial tango on its orbit up there. That takes some real skill to keep beaming my Seinfeld reruns. And they know that if I don't get my daily dose of Kramer, I really go koo koo.

Here's a long exposure of the north star dated 2006

notice that the celestial north pole is to the left of the

north star.

Which one do you think is the North star? How did you identify it?

Polaris is the brightest star in neighborhood, so I looked

for the brightest star closest to the center of the circle

of stars and found that it was the one just to the right

of celestial north pole.

Bzzzt. Wrong. That is a doctored image. Look Ma: No streaks!

Your video is complete nonsense, also. There is this thing called twilight, and it can last a long time in high latitudes. Civil twilight was over five hours long at Davis Station that day; nautical twilight, over eight hours long.

I'm not familiar with laser sighting, but it must come in an assembly

that is adjustable. Here's the basics of how it works

Quote

"So why DOES that beam of light simply stop at the target, instead of

fading out in the distance, or seeming to go on "forever". Well, the

answer's obvious if you do the math. If the laser is one foot away

from my eyes, to the side, and I'm looking towards the "end" of the

beam, then we can start to think in triangles, where the base is 1 foot

long. If I look at a point 100 feet along the beam, then we have a

tall skinny triangle with sides of 1 foot, 100 feet, The small angle

for this triangle is 0.57 degrees. That's the angle between my sight

line and the laser beam. But that means that the other angle is 89.42

degrees. The first 100 feet of beam covers 89.42 degrees of view

to my eye. Let's look a thousand feet down the beam. We now cover

89.94 degrees of our field of view. Going ten times farther filled

an additional 0.37 degrees of our field of view with a beam. At

10,000 feet, we get to 89.99 degrees - and we gained 0.05 degrees or

three arcminutes. Beam-of-light technologies claims their beam from

this product reaches 25,000 feet. If that's the case, then the

additional 15,000 feet past what we just calculated will add 0.003

degrees to our view of the beam, or 10 arcSECONDS.

laserdiag.gif

The first 10,000 feet gives us a laser beam across almost 90

degrees of our view. And the next 15,000 feet of beam visually

lengthens the visible beam by a size smaller than the disk of Saturn,

Jupiter, or Venus. In other words, while the beam is fading out gradually,

the part of it that we can actually see, the close part goes almost

all the way to where we're pointing, while the long long section that

fades out, adds almost no visible length to the beam. Even the section

of the beam starting after one thousand feet away only lengthens the

visible beam by the size of a crater on the moon that's too small to see with the naked

eye."

Here's another long exposure of the north star and only

if the Earth was wobbling on it's axis would you get this

type of exposure. Due to the gyroscopic effect of the Earth's

rotation any force pulling on the poles would produce this effect.

I'm on the same planet (in a sense) as the people who wrote those pages. My sat nav still works.

It tells me I'm at home.

If the earth's tilt had changed it would not do that.

So the earth hasn't moved.

Sorry to spoil your fun but there's no way out of it. If the earth had moved then my sat nav would be telling me I'm somewhere else.

It doesn't so the earth is just where it should be.

There is no more to be said on this subject.

Good question, satellite TV should still work but

GPS is another question people are reporting problems

now with GPS giving wrong coordinates as discussed

on this web page

http://discussions.tomtom.com/t5/LIVE-Services-HD-Traffic-and/Wrong-GPS-position/td-p/266905

"Oh dear. So much pain to be a TT owner......

The 550 and One XL do not seem to be affected"

Hmmm. You can't affect only some units if the satellites weren't where we thought they were.

You can't have just some evidence of a pole shift, when there is so much more that it hasn't happened. Anecdotes are not evidence.

Not so fast GPS satellites can be out of position and still give

correct GPS cordinates

The GPS

satellites orbit the earth twice a day. It isn't necessary for them to

stay in perfect position. The crucial point is that each satellite

should "know" where it is. Tracking stations around the world allow the

orbits of the satellites to be calculated, that information is sent to

the satellites and the satellites, in turn, broadcast that data to the GPS

receiver on the ground. When a GPS receiver picks up broadcasts from
4 or more satellites, it can determine its position relative to those satellites
and hence derive its geographical location.

And yet you originally offered this as evidence.

There either is or isn't a pole shift in progress that involves a change physical

position of the earth, since the positions of GPS satellites are not affected by

a changes in Earth's tilt angle, the experts are saying that GPS

will still work even if the GPS satellites have a different geographic location

above the Earth, which in this case is due a geographical change in the Earth's

position and the orbital position of the GPS satellites remaining constant.

You haven't cited any actual experts.

These are experts: http://maia.usno.navy.mil/

This is what they say about the direction the axis is pointing http://maia.usno.navy.mil/whatiseop.html

GPS would compensate if there was a change in orientation, but the people that would do this compensation haven't noticed any abnormal change.

OK Semmjase,

set aside the GPS ones for a moment (though, you still need to give a proper explanation).

What about all the "geostationary" satellites - the ones that retransmit TV shows.

If the earth's axis moved then they would all be in the "wrong" bit of the sky.

Did somebody go round and shift everybody's dishes while they were not looking?

How come all the amateur astronomers didn't spot it?

Why has the moon not changed its appearance in 400 years?

How come Stonehenge is still lined up with the sun at the equinox?

And, perhaps most importantly, do you want to buy this bridge?

This is a quote out of Wikipedia

"Satellite maneuvers are not precise by GPS standards.

So to change the orbit of a satellite, the satellite must be marked unhealthy,
so receivers will not use it in their calculation. Then the maneuver
can be carried out, and the resulting orbit tracked from the ground.
Then the new ephemeris is uploaded and the satellite marked healthy
again."

If satellites are constantly getting out of position they have to constanty

fed new position coordinates. which means some will be relying on

wrong position coordinates for awhile which explains so many complaints

from people about being given wrong GPS coordinates here's two below.

OK, I know this is an issue temporarily, but my
location has been completely screwed for more than 2 days now. Its
happened before and I would activate the stand alone GPS and it would
correct itself in a few minutes. I am in Rochester New York and my
Incredible has my location in Gazost FRANCE!! My GPS will not work at
all. I have tried Google Earth, Google Maps, Navigation, Run Keeper and
all cannot obtain a GPS signal. When I do "My Location" on google
earth it zooms into some mountains in France and says that is where I
am. I am getting the weather for this region too. I have done a
re-program, took the battery out, and reset the phone. What the hell is
going on!! Any ideas?? It has never been messed up for this long.

About two weeks ago, my iPhone has started to display the wrong GPS
location about a mile away. I have tried reseting the 3G and turning it
on and off (obiously after 2 weeks). I reely don't know what to do. I
have 3GS and iPhone 3.0.

Have you tried turning them off and then on again?

This is a problem with technology, not the planet. After all, since you haven't moved, shouldn't both devices show you at the same location? Not one in France and the other just a mile away? Or did the planet lean back into almost the original position when you checked on your iPhone?

But really, reboot them, including pulling out the battery.

from my perspective, so this guy is a nutter too.
