Externet Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 A priest collected andean archeology many years ago and some studies are going on. Video not in English at http://vimeo.com/55111929At 00:40:30, bottom right, seems to be the one detailed in the picture aboveImages of other pieces are at :http://www.geschichteinchronologie.ch/Daeniken/ESP/mensaje-de-los-dioses/26-Ecuador-Cuenca-coleccion-Crespi.htmlThere is a video in english for some pieces kept at the priest (Crespi) 'warehouse' :http://www.yurileveratto.com/articolo.php?Id=126 I find the similitude overwelming, half globe away and waaaay before Columbus. Could it be a hoax ?
pwagen Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 At 00:40:30, bottom right, seems to be the one detailed in the picture above Doesn't seem that way to me. None of the figures in the video are in the right position, so that's another sculpture. I find the similitude overwelming, half globe away and waaaay before Columbus. Could it be a hoax ? One would have to track down where the Egyptian picture is from, as well as the Ecuadorian one. Then do some kind of dating on them (finding out how old they are, not for reproductive purposes) to see if either is made at a more modern age. I couldn't find anything about either of the pictures, apart from the one you've put in your post. Searching for them seems to always bring up Cueva de los Tayos, but I can't find that specific piece anywhere on any site relating to that location. The only picture in existance seems to be that one, with no further information. So until we know more, all we can do is withhold judgement. My Spanish is a little rusty, but the old priest seems to talk about his findings being Babylonian. And sure enough, they do look that way. http://chapmanresearch.org/PDF/Crespi%20Ancient%20Artifact%20Collection%20of%20Cuenca%20%20Ecuador.pdf However, I can't make out if he actually found them there, or if they were brought there and he bought them at a yard sale or something. Either way, it would be hard to prove that they were actually dug up in South America, unless they find more of the same. I also found a link asking the question "Did Hitler escape to Argentina to become Father Crespi?". Read at your own risk. http://www.deanthebard.com/blog/did-hitler-escape-to-argentina-to-become-father-crespi/
michel123456 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Here on page 16. The source of the picture (Von Daniken) is not a good element of research. I found nothing about the left picture (the egyptian). 1
pwagen Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Here on page 16. Excellent, I failed to read my own source.
Externet Posted April 6, 2013 Author Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) Excellent! Thanks ! That page 16 reveals the piece from Ecuador, if Daniken is to be believed. The negatve of the picture may be flipped on one of them; perhaps to enhance the comparison. Now will try again to find the Isis goddess from Egypt, in an egyptian museum or site. This one (half page down) is a very close 'modern' painting : http://ascendingpassage.com/tomb-of-Seti-I-Belzoni.htm Edit : From photo album of a tourist ----> http://www.flickr.com/photos/manna4u/favorites/with/6126963542/lightbox/ So the egyptian seems real. Now back to find that statue/piece from 'Ecuador' -Will keep digging. Edit 2 : at time stamp 1:56 the same image appears among the collection from Ecuador on the video here----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uSNe8kqqF9Q -again, if to be believed- But it is shocking to see in that last video, the time stamp 00:23; and in general, many other similitudes. Externet Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Correction. The Egyptian goddess may not be Isis as I posted above; seems to be Hathor. Edited April 7, 2013 by Externet
imatfaal Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 The egyptian goddess is pretty certain modern - but it is an accurate reproduction of the depiction of the goddess from here http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Hathor_y_Seti_I.jpg This is the goddess as shown in the tomb of Seti 1 (I didn't realise even the ancient egyptians were searching for et!)
