pwagen Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Look into both and decide which one would suit your interests and aspirations best.
Equinox Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I wouldn't go into a branch based on how easy it is, do it based on your likes! What you'll like you might find is easier then what you don't like! Good luck!
production_engineer Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I am an udergraduate student of production engineering (it is the same as industrial engineering). I am only going to tell you that industrial engineering has more mathematics and applied statistics than mech eng. Mechanical engineering has a more technical aspect but industrial engineering is interested in analyzing a production system as a whole system rather than checking every machine individually. In my opinion the best is a bachelors degree in mech or ind eng and then a masters degree in mech or ind eng respectively. Then you will be complete if you wanna follow a job in the industry sector of economy. Finally I think it is the same difficulty.
Corrmaz Posted April 8, 2013 Author Posted April 8, 2013 Well I wante to get a BS in Mech then go into the army and get my MS in Material Eng and a BS in Chemistry, and par of a phd in physics.
