hasanmoukalled Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hi! I am searching for all carcinogenic substances for my lab teacher because she has an old version of it. Can anyone help me?
John Cuthber Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 That's impossible. Not all carcinogens are know, However, this http://monographs.iarc.fr/ENG/Classification/ClassificationsAlphaOrder.pdf is a list of a lot of the known carcinogens. 1

I can't find Ammonium Dichromate n the PDF file. Is this the organic or inorganic, can I have them all?
John Cuthber Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 018540-29-9 Chromium (VI) compounds 1 49, 100C 2012
hasanmoukalled Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 018540-29-9 Chromium (VI) compounds 1 49, 100C 2012 Ah, ok, so Chromium (VI) is Ammonium Dichromate. Is there a PDF document that could help me know their name? I am sorry. I know I am asking a lot but I am working on the science fair and I need to know the risks of using substances while working..
Fuzzwood Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 No. Ammonium dichromate is one of many hexavalent chromium compounds.
hasanmoukalled Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 No. Ammonium dichromate is one of many hexavalent chromium compounds. So it's not Chromium VI? If it's not, how its not found in the PDF file? Thanks.
John Cuthber Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Chromium (VI) covers lots of chemicals, they are all carcinogenic so you might as well treat them all as a single group. Ammonium dichromate is one of that group.
