ecoli Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Help!! I'm addicted to the Science Forums network! I should be doing my homework, but instead I surf the message boards. When no one's posting, I surf the web, and keep checking back. Should I get a life, or what!
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Don't worry. I used to be like that, and I got 25 posts a day. After about a thousand posts I quieted down; now I only post 5 per day.
Babbler Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Huh? There only like 7 topic a week to post on this site, I find. It not really a heavy traffic site, sadly .
ecoli Posted January 13, 2005 Author Posted January 13, 2005 That makes it even more pathetic...I just keep refreshing the site until I see a new post.
-Demosthenes- Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Don't worry. I used to be like that, and I got 25 posts a day. After about a thousand posts I quieted down; now I only post 5 per day. I think I got a warning when I was in my prime.
ed84c Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Dont worry, 'brother', i go through addiction stages. I have been through about 4 one month stints. (spearated by abiout 4 of little posting). And yes my HW was not done either.
YT2095 Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 we DO have an "Account Suspension" option if that would help? )))
5614 Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 yeah same, like now im meant to be writing an essay!!!! ah, what the heck, ive got all evening! Huh? There only like 7 topic a week to post on this site, I find im sure there's more than 7!
Klaynos Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 I read alot but only post very infrequently, I tend to only post when I actually have something constructive to say and actually think through what I've written before actually hitting post. That way I end up writeing alot of posts and then deleteing them, hence I'm NOT addicted
Auburngirl05 Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 I read alot but only post very infrequently' date=' I tend to only post when I actually have something constructive to say and actually think through what I've written before actually hitting post. [/quote'] Same here, I read tons but rarely post unless I'm SURE I know what I'm talking about, hence my extremely low post rate despite being and active visitor...
