Primarygun Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 What will occur if some decomposers landed and survive in your lung? I think we don't have any method to get rid of them, right? Such as, pouring chlorine, high temperature, low temperature.............
ed84c Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Deomposers only break down DEAD cells. Your immune system would kill them.
YT2095 Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 What will occur if some decomposers landed and survive in your lung? define "decomposers" please, as it`s impossible to determine as yet, since there are many accelerants that aid decomposition.
Glider Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 If he means bacteria, then they do, all the time, as do fungal spores, and other particulates. ed84c is right, your immune system gets rid of them (secretory IgA, mainly). The mucus secreted by mucosal cells traps them, SIgA kills them, and the cillia lining your lungs move them up and back out of your lungs so you can expel them.
