Guest qcadesigner Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 You may have heard of an emerging nanotechnology called quantum-dot cellular automata or QCA. There is a free open source tool available for you to download and explore the design of nano-scale computing circuits with this technology. You can download the tool at: http://www.qcadesigner.ca There is also a basic tutorial on QCA and how circuits work using this technology available at: http://www.qcadesigner.ca/tutorials/QCATutorial.html Let me know what you think.
Guest k_walus Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Do you think this sort of technology is manufacturable? How fast do these chips operate?
Gilded Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Whoah. Looks somewhat Anarchy Online-ish. Well, at least now YT can design nanochips for an army of shed-guarding nanobots. )
Guest k_walus Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I'm not so sure about the Anarchy Online business but the shed-guarding nanobots seems like an interesting concept.
