Externet Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Hi. Is there an external distinctive, simple visual sign on a domestic refrigerator compressor to tell if it is scroll or reciprocating, other than researching the label and its manufacturer/model data sheet ?
Enthalpy Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 If you access the compressor, its shape and noise should tell you much, doesn't it?
michel123456 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 What do you mean by "scroll" and "reciprocating"? ------------ Notes: 1.if your refrigerator stops functioning normally, try to take the power wire off for 30 minutes, then plug it in back. 2. the data sheet is inside the refrigerator somewhere, next to the door hinge or behind the boxes in the bottom.
michel123456 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 http://bit.ly/10kx1bj lost in translation. Thanks.
