Windevoid Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Is everything a bubble in the ocean of space? It would explain inertia and the reflection of light. Maybe it's crazy, maybe it's not. I think Stan Deyo and Tesla said similar things, as well as Nova on PBS.
pwagen Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 It would explain inertia and the reflection of light. How would space being a bubble explain the reflection of light? Which part of the reflection of light is thus far unexplained?
ACG52 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 First of all, what does being a 'bubble in space' even mean. Second, how would it explain anything?
Daedalus Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Is everything a bubble in the ocean of space? ... I think Stan Deyo and Tesla said similar things, as well as Nova on PBS. You probably were watching a show on Nova and heard the scientists talk about how our universe is in a bubble. The theory that our universe is contained inside a bubble, and that multiple alternative universes exist inside their own bubbles -- making up the 'multiverse' -- is, for the first time, being tested by physicists. As for your other claims, perhaps they are a tad bit crazy : ) Edited July 2, 2013 by Daedalus
