HELPMExad Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 how to calculate the amount of LDH activity as a percentage of that present before heat inactivation (i.e. to give %activity restored)? incubation time (mins) BSA Hsp70 -ATP +ATP -ATP +ATP 0 0.28 0.28 0.3 0.38 10 0.3 0.32 0.68 1.65 20 0.29 0.31 0.93 2.63 30 0.37 0.41 1.17 4.58 40 0.45 0.48 1.17 6.52 50 0.57 0.6 1.55 8.03 60 0.79 0.81 1.74 8.93 BSA = bovine serum albuminHSP70 = heat shock protein (just a protein thats part of the HSP family). At 0 the heat shock was administered and at 60 mins they've recovered, 0 minutes upwards the recovery was on certainly didnt realise that'll happen...!
