Ayesha Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Any one please answer me while working in lab which common chemicals should not be mixed?A few days ago my class mate was working with some chemicals in the lab.At once there was an explosion in the beaker. It was terrifying. So I want to ask that which common chemicals e.g, NaOH,CasO4 etc. should not be mixed? Thanks
hypervalent_iodine Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 There are far too many to list in a thread like this. If you're dealing with chemicals in a lab, you should be doing safety risk assessments and should make yourself aware of what not to do with each chemical you're using. Giving you a long, general list is not going to be useful to you.
Ayesha Posted July 31, 2013 Author Posted July 31, 2013 okay..I am going to find information on getting aware of what not to do with each chemical. Thanks!
